Professor Bruce Dunphy

As founder and Medical Director of Bubtree, Bruce is passionate about helping people achieve their dreams of parenthood by providing tailored fertility solutions for every patient he connects with. Bruce practises the art of balancing complicated aspects of life science and medicine with your unique situation. This requires a breadth of qualifications and experience, and it is through Bruce's deep, lifelong commitment to study and practice that he has achieved a high level of mastery in this art.

While in standard practice many couples end up going through IVF treatment, Bruce does not start from an assumption that this is required; instead you are presented with an individually tailored opinion about your best options for care based on the uniqueness of your situation. Bruce's philosophy of care is focused on the best approach for every patient, rather than just applying the science under a 'one-size-fits-all' mentality.

Bruce's mastery of the art of life science has been built from a strong foundation of credentials; he has a long list of impeccable medical and scientific qualifications. Bruce is one of only four Queensland gynaecologists who hold the Certificate of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (C.R.E.I). As an expert in performing fertility surgery and in-vitro fertilization, Bruce provides comprehensive fertility care services. He is a true expert in the field, and the knowledge and skills gained through the C.R.E.I allow Bruce to take on both straightforward and complex cases.

With several decades of practical experience to build on these qualifications, Bruce is sought after as an internationally-recognised expert. Bruce's unwavering passion for his patients, his holistic approach to life science and his ability to resolve complicated fertility cases through decades of research and experience is what underpins the Bubtree team, and enables Bubtree to deliver high quality fertility care to every patient.
