Our Scientists

After completing a BSc (Hons) at the University of Queensland, Nikki began her embryology career at Monash IVF.  She worked there for 3 years, and completed a Masters in Genetic Counselling.  Nikki then decided to move abroad to expand her training and experience, and spent six years living and working in London. Nikki worked in both public and private clinics. After a year working at Guy's and St Thomas' Assisted Conception Unit, Nikki was appointed Senior Embryologist at the Lister Fertility Clinic in Chelsea, with a team of 10 embryologists performing over 2000 cycles per year. She has now returned to Brisbane as our Laboratory Supervisor.

Rodney has over 15 years experience working in the field of Assisted Reproductive Technology. After gaining a BSc (Honours) in Applied Biology and initially training in the UK, he moved to the Gold Coast, Australia in 1998. Rodney has been employed by Monash IVF Brisbane for 6 years. His caring and meticulous approach provides confidence to our Patients and Doctors that our laboratory is providing the optimum service available. Rodney works in all key aspects of our laboratory but is particularly involved with our PGD, and auditing programmes.
